Post 013.

Hey, sorry that i haven't updated my blog for a few days, i've just been terribly busy with University work, my social life and my work life.
Just incase you didn't know I do have another blog that I update weekly which is www.matthewtansley.blogspot.com.

I woke up at 8.45am to get Lady Gaga tickets for her tour The Fame Monster Ball Tour at the O2 in London in February 2010. I guess I don't have any luck as they were sold out, even after waiting 15 minutes beforehand.

Now Ticket prices are sky rocketed due to people buying the tickets in bulk and selling them on, which is a bit out of order really, because I do want to go because I do love GaGa but I'm really not prepared to pay twice/triple the original ticket price just to see her, Id rather wait until she tours again towards the end of 2010 or early 2011 which ever she decides is best to release a new album.

People can think "oh but you must not love her that much" well I do but it just seems bad to pay so much money for a ticket that was originally £27.50/£35 just so that person can make a profit, and then theirs the factor of using secure ticket websites and even with these you don't know your getting what you paid for. Some tickets for standing are up there for £650. Not even kidding!!

Though her new song "Bad Romance" is out soon and I'm looking forward to the music video, it will obviously get to number one well I think so anyway.

However please share your thoughts on her upcomming Tour, Tickets, her new song or anything :).

Ke$ha.
The girl you have herd on tracks with Taio Cruz to P-Diddy, is back with her solo single "Tik-Tok".

Its mighty catchy and the video isn't half bad either.

She looks like a mixture of Taylor Swift and Ashley Tisdale, though her clothes are abit more edgy and her sound more clubby. I can see this song being a big hit in the clubs towards the end of this year.

How sad is it that i've only just found out that "Be Your Own Pet" have split up for definite.

I remember the first song I herd from the band called "Adventure", probably the most mainstream song from all of their albums...exclusing "The Kelly Affair".

I've just recently downloaded their last album "Get Awkward", it was one of those things when you have all your favourite music on your PC, buy a laptop for University and forget about some albums in your online collection.

The song i'm listening to at the moment is "What's Your Damage", I generally miss their sound, their grainy, demo-ish sound.

HOT MESS. Cobra Starship's new album in which I am listenning to as I write this blog. I wasn't a major fan of their first album, some of their songs were good but others sucked. Hot Mess which is their second album has changed my mind about them, there current single "Good Girls Gone Bad" didn't catch my attention and still doesn't so i was undecided whether to get this album, but most of the songs on the album are quite good, catchy, poppy and dancey. Put this album on while your getting ready to go out for a wild night with your friends.
P.S - Hello to my sister Louise :) Who is enjoying sunny Italy while I enjoy rain.

Ou Est Le Swimming Pool.... No, i'm talking about swimming pools in french, it's infact a band :), i'm not really sure how long they have been around for but there current song "Dance The Way I Feel" is very catchy. I remember hearing this in a club for the first time and as soon as it started i typed most of the lyrics into my blackberry and saved and well here I am telling you about them.

Welcome to the new déjà vu

Fall out Boy have released a new song called "Alpha Dog", and i must say it sounds a bit different to the one they released on their "Citizens Of FOB" remixed album and not in a good way. The more i listen to this version the more i begin to like it, though i much prefer the version on the remixed album. As everyone knows now, Fall Out Boy are going on an indefinite hiatus, but i don't think we will have to wait long for them to be back! Their final album which unsprisingly will be a Greatest Hits album is to be released later this year, before they all set off on different projects.

Post 007.

In the next few weeks, I will try and continue to update my blog everyday, however now that my first project has been set, but attention shall be on that.

I have to create a blog (I won't be using this one), and post things within a 5 week period in the style of a chosen newspaper. My newspaper is the New York Times - www.nytimes.com.

I shall post the new blog URL here soon if you wish to continue to read my work.

Even though I only have one follower who happens to be in my class. Bless.

Young Soul Rebels consist of: Pixie Lott, N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder, Frankmusik, V.V Brown, Kid British, Chipmunk, Mpho, McLean, Ironkik, Domino Go and Bashy.

It's the current Charity Single for charity War Child. Go out and buy it!!

I don't really enjoy most charity singles, but this one is addictive, putting all them great artists together for one song was genius.

Jack Penate is like a breath of fresh air. I absoutley loved his debut album and now I love his new album "Everything Is New" even more!
It's unsual that I begin to like every song on the album, as usually there is always that one song that you dislike, but not on this album.

Post 004.

Went to ASK! Italian where it was a lovely night until the end where I had to pay £25 extra, due to people either going without paying or not paying the correct amount.
That's what you get, for going to a resturant with 30 other people.

Moving on, the night got better as I made my way to the club and got drunk, which is also good :).
Claire my lovely friend decided to buy me drinks and shots due to the outcome of the resturant meal, bless her. I Love You Claire!!!

I also for some odd reason, decided to wear Alex's [Cull] hoodie, which in fact was a tad too small for me, but SHH! he doesn't need to know this!!
He is a nice guy with some gentle problems, but I also know that he is a guy that can overcome these; though he knows I am here for him.

So yes, I must remember to bring it with me to my lecture tommorow, as I promised Alex I would. Knowing me, i'll probably forget :(.

I also hope James [Uden] got home okay, I didn't see him for a while :(, along with Kellie [Neighbour]. Love you Kellie.

Oh not forgetting Joe!! he is proper caring, and I haven't really had any people that care about me (my friends aswell), so it's new to me and I still don't know how to handle it. Is that bad??

Maybe I should of put some pictures in this to break up the writting?? Ohwell...

Rob Zombie's latest re-told "remake" is out in Cinemas now, and I suggest you go and see it! It is rather disturbing in some parts with the killings and blood but overall absoutley amazing.

I kind of follow Rotten Tomatoes religiously when it comes to film reviews, and I was suprised when overall it only got a undeserved 22%. For me it deserves atleast 9/10!

The Veronicas are back!

I was listening to a song on the radio that sounded abit like dance-pop. The song was "4ever", I had no idea this was by The Veronicas.

They also have a new album out soon, which I am looking forward to as their debut album was really good.

Here is the video for there song "4Ever". Bare in mind there are about 3 different versions of the video - Europe/UK, US and Australian, below is the US Version.

Post 001.

I was looking around on myspace for music; like I usually do, and found a band called "Milburn".

They are not together anymore but they sound pretty good, abit like the Arctic Monkeys.
Below is their song "Send In the Boys".
